First fallacy: endorsing an action is the same as practicing it. Your only argument was about Linux, not BSD. It seems with this fallacy you're able to call a thief any who don't agree with you.

With that being said - you should probably delete the first few paragraphs where you are basically saying “mean people on the internet yelled at me”. If your points are valid (I assume they are) then they are valid regardless of how a few people have reacted.
