Once I was up to give a course and while my students arrived at the room I - extremely nervous - recompiled the kernel to luckily get the HDMI working.
Spaghetti
Unfortunately after kernel 4 VGA stopped working.
Is this real?

MacOS High Anus is a buggy shitfest and I hear the macfags complain about something breaking after every update.

you only hear this because there are a lot of macfags and a lot of them aren't technical people.

nothing can compare to the desktop Linuxfag's silent pain of dealing with the many bugs and being too proud to complain about it for fear of losing l33t cred

You get used to your daily dose of pain. And Linux gives you some control, so you don't feel totally helpless. I guess that also makes a difference between the two. Recently my daily dose of pain has been Systemd. It doesn't deterministically start the needed services, causing some systems to never come up. (Until reboot that is).

All of them are sysadmins and programmers. These aren't technical people? Also make you're are game

I've had way too many shitting matches with sysvinit but none with systemd. Maybe I'm lucky.
