There is not just one blockchain. Saying ``the blockchain'' reminds me of that one ancient interview where George Bush said ``the google'' instead of just google. Why not call it blockchain, or blockchains? It's a data structure. Would you say ``the array'' or ``the integer'' instead of array or integer?
