was simulating keypresses really the best way of doing it or just the best you could figure out? I remember automating a lot of different tasks with simulated mouse and keyboard but this was really fragile and I only did it because I didn't know better. now I cringe at the very thought and I hope I'll never need to automate GUI software with no scripting/API
