I finally did it

I'm networking with other software developers IN PERSON. Not online. We go get food and drink and walk around town and shit like that. We talk about tech in-depth, but also other random unrelated shit. It's weird, since previously I was mostly used to thinking CS types only existed online. Like, I always knew they were real people, but I'm used to knowing luddites who aren't devs.

How much do you talk with people about programming in real life as opposed to online? I'm still a beginner so I'm only doing independent projects as opposed to being hired by a company yet, so I might be behind many of you in terms of experience.
