Alert boxes are bad design

I associate them with XSS these days.

I went to another old image board with ancient software that is still around (but just barely), and seemingly-randomly had an alert box on the page that said ``wut'' and I thought ``oh shit, this site is owned'' but I did some research and found out it's not XSS, it's a feature!

It's clearly some undergrad's toy project, let it go. It's also a .bak file, not real js.

It doesn't matter that it's a .bak, it's actually used live on a certain image board, where I encountered the "wut" alert box.
