Copying and pasting from Stack Overflow

Is it acceptable to use code from answers on Stack Overflow? They often don't specify licenses but if they didn't want you to use it they wouldn't post it.

It's not about whether you're allowed to by Stack Overflow. I am asking: is it acceptable in the workplace, by your employer and coworkers, to do this? Or would they see that as lazy? Edited on 02/09/2018 02:19.
