What's the point of using SSL in
$CURRENT_YEAR? Thanks to LetsEncrypt & co. anyone can get a bogus cert easily, while users are being conditioned to keep ignoring the magical green padlock icon in the URL bar. The protocol itself has not been clearly visible in the bar for a long time now. Clicking on it is not a solution for the typical user who does not even know that it's clickable.
