Stallman is the personification of bullshit.

Stallman is a Stalinist
Stallman even considers tax evasion a crime (against whom?):

>We need a state to do many vital jobs, including fund research, fund education, provide people with medical care – provide everyone with medical care – build roads, maintain order, provide justice, including to those who are not rich and powerful, and so the state’s got to bring in a lot of money.
>I wouldn’t want perfect privacy because that would mean it would be impossible to investigate crimes at all. And that’s one of the jobs we need the state to do.

that is all you need to know about "Free Software". The old freak speaks just like my demented mother.

This doesn't sound like Stallman. RMS === govt puppet replacement?

Stallman has to feed his kids. He may not have a family, but he had a lot of GFs and bastard kids from them. He also lives on MIT's campus. Therefore government money.

Thank you! I wore that power tie on a cruise ship, where I was being
paid to give speeches and teaching classes for techies. (I would not
have gone to such a place otherwise.) One evening they said people
were supposed to wear formal dress. As a matter of principle, I don't
own a real tie, so the "power" tie was the closest thing I had!

The organizers agreed to pay me because a trip on a cruise ship would
not in itself be a reward, not for me. I expected to be there alone.
However, amazingly, I then found a sweetheart. So she went there with
me--and she hated the experience.

Sad to say, she is now in my ex-girlfriends list, which means I can
now apply for a place in your ex-boyfriends list.

How did you find out about me?

I read an interview with you in the Funny Times. You sound like fun.
Aside from that, I like your cartoons. My favorite was the one where
the couple get married with eyes closed, then say, "Who are you?"

So, how do I go about applying?

So, some site has a hate boner on RMS?
'Cause his stances on Bitcoin, and blockchain in general are on his site:
https://stallman.org/cgi-bin/site-search.cgi
He seems pretty libertarian about the whole thing.

But he's right, public ledgers like bitcoin destroy privacy. CryptoNote is so far the only blockchain derivative even attempting privacy.

Based and monero-pilled

Monero has issues, more importantly PoW. I'm leaning toward PoC, but speculation based systems are perilous, esp. with fiat.
Honestly if humanity wasn't so gullible we wouldn't even need e-currency, that has a huge flaw: access to power, connectivity, and computers.
Bring back seeds!

The only issue here is growth in Blockchain.
I'm not download 50GB of crypto trash to mine virtual coins and i don't trust web wallets.
The more popular the cryptocurrency is, the faster its blockchain grows and the more electricity it consumes to read/computer/transfer all that data, regardless of algorithm(i.e. even its speicifically low-energy, it still have to use more resources as size of blockchain grows).
And no, "pruning" and compressing the blockchain only delays the inevitable.

And speed, if it takes 10 aeons to get a payment confirmed then you will not be able to use it to pay for your coffee for example.
Not to mention the huge cost per transaction thing that goes to the chinese miners.

Can you open a bank account, without providing an id?

You've never heard of this thing called cash? How about barter? Trade for service? Borrowing?
>>16
In Poland you still can.

I would not know, why are you asking me?

I'm sure it will be severely limited, like no way to send or receive transfers, without providing id. I.e pure savings account.
