git is a handy tool, and the many graphical frontends have made it even easier to use for a non-linux-radical user.

I don't use graphical frontends but I kinda agree, it's a good tool but its CLI is really arcane for anything other than simple commit/push/pull/branch. and I'm saying this as someone who generally likes using CLI. of course, it wouldn't be that much of an issue if its manpages were better
