Wrote a little search tool for finding Peanuts comic strips. Uses no j*vascript frameworks. Back end is about 200 lines of Go, no database. Find some fun results and link it here. Thank u.

Nice but how about don't make the search start loading so quickly? I searched for "bitcoin" and got hit with a massive page of results for the word "bit" before they disappeared and I caught a "No strips found." for bitcoin.

Also maybe consider not returning results unless it is an exact match, if I search for "go" I don't want a bunch of strips appearing that contain "going" "gone" and so on.

Searching for anus just reveals comics about a manuscript.

It should redirect to a picture of Mike Pence shooting lightning bolts out of his hands.

Hoe does the default ``by relevant'' search work exactly?

Thank you folks testing this out.

Yeah? I can tweak that. Of course don't want to go too far in the other direction and make it seem unresponsive.

I suppose word matching can be refined. I will think about how to do that.
>Hoe does the default ``by relevant'' search work exactly?
Whatever has the highest count of matches of words in the search term. I should probably divide the count by the number of words in a strip, as I guess this favours longer Sunday strips to the top.

Where in the name of Nostalgia is the following Peanuts strip that gobsmacked me upside the haid? It always seemed like the Peanuts strip was speaking to me personally and mocking my life. For three years I had a crush on a little red-haired girl, and the Peanuts strip for decades had episodes of Charlie Brown, just like me, trying to get up the courage to go and talk to the red-haired girl. She was a cheerleader and she was in charge of the Chocolate Sale and... but I digress. Here is the episode that I need. One day Lucy was once again leaning on the piano that Schroeder was playing, and Lucy started looking through the contents of Schroeder's wallet. Suddenly Lucy shrieked, "Who on Earth keeps a picture of Beethoven in their wallet??!! When I saw that strip, I went and fetched my own wallet and I opened it up and I stared at the majestic picture of Ludwig van Beethoven in my own wallet, just like Schroeder's. And the Peanuts strip made me wonder -- is their something weird about having a picture of Beethoven in your wallet? At the risk of looking old or superannuated, I ask for a link or URL to that particular Peanuts comic strip. TIA -- Thanks In Advance.

Couldn't find that strip... possibly didn't happen during the run of the strip? Might've been something from one of the non-canon comic series.
Could only find one strip. https://peanuts-search.com/?q=beethoven%20wallet
