Hilarious how devs get envious and vicious because some kid managed to make an
appealing language and get people excited. So much for the tolerant open source
community.

Just because some woman had trouble running it on a second-rate OS, doesn't mean the project as a whole is shit. So the author has an overly optimistic release schedule. So he didn't spec out some of the more difficult features too well. So what? Nobody's forcing you to use it.

I will grant you that leaving a shell call in the

download_file

implementation is pretty bad, though.
