There should just not be top-level domains. People should be able to make a website that's just their domain name. tinychan.org would instead be just tinychan. If people want to keep the current existing top-level domains, they can do it by having a domain name that is what was the top-level domain, and registering a subdomain with that domain. e.g. tinychan.org would be a subdomain of org.
There should also be competing domain name registries, so that what is tinychan.org in one registry is not necessarily the same as what is tinychan.org in another registry. This would help remedy the insane prices of domain names.

The problem with the gitmoji thing is that it is trying to create one standard interpretation for how to use emoji in version control. What would be better is to use unambiguous tags, and let each individual user of the repository render those tags as whatever pictures, if any, he chooses.
