Fucking hate virtual desktops. Get into one by accident, and cant return back to where I was, because there is always some tricky Emacs-tier shortcut, and which is not even exposed to the user (unless he reads some keybindings.ini).

You think the trap you fell into is bad? Oh you poofter dilettante! Old Boomer Dude here devised and implemented a far more devious trap, but then got forbidden to deploy it any more by the НачалстBо -- what is English word? -- leadership? supervisorship? of the grandiose main campus library of his American Almissima Mater, and woe was him after so much trudny work on the project. But then, oh trappee pup, the kindness of Wuhan Coronavirus intervened and your Boomer Miscreant was then allowed to resume...OoPs! Gotta go! Gotta spread memes by means of ineluctable trap/ambush/oubliette de desparacion! Stay tuned for further adventures of La Revolucion Memetique.
>>8 OP didn't mention workspaces but "Virtual Desktops". And that's Windows 10 lingo.

What is a virtual desktop? Is that like in Debian or OSX where you have several desktops to choose from?

I hate hardcoded bindings. Mpv literally aborts when I press Ctrl-c, even if I rebind it in input.conf. I fixed the issue by making my wm translate my binding into another when using mpv, but it's still dumb. Config files are dumb. Use a wrapper! It's the UNIX way, probably!
