Fishing Robot

No. I'm not talking about the "fishing" social engineering bot, but about the fisherman's assistant robot, which can asses the amount of fish, and calculate the difficulty of catching fish in the pond and maybe provide the best fishing strategy, given the pond/river state, the time of day, the current weather, and the number of people already fishing.

Such bot can even reside in the pond for prolonged periods of time and call you when it is the best time to fish. It can also be used as a fish farm assistant. Or maybe in oceanology research and terraforming. Just thing about robots building you an underwater city, like in Bioshock.

Can you kickstart such a thing?

I.e. we have quadcopters drones, but there is not much interesting in the air, beside aerial filming and items transfer. Yet underwater there is a lot of cool and useful stuff, and space for farming. Moreover, underwater drone is more energy efficient than your flying one.

Obviously that will have a huge environmental impact if people start farming crap in the ocean. But still...

Great, now I have the mental image of hopping on a robot fish and kickstarting it like a motorcycle.
