Ok. Today I had a sleepless night. Meet refugee Anis. He came to Netherlands from Morocco. At 3 am (3:00 in the night) he got into a loud squabble with another refugee from Middle East over a stash of cannabis (these people push drugs in the camp). I complained about the noise, but they continued. So I began recording, which haven't pacified him. Hearing that I will report him to camp administration, first he punched the phone out of my hand, then there was a fight. He tried to get my phone and break, so this recording wont surface. Fortunately the phone flung under the bed, out of his reach, but he messed all my other stuff. Before that he accused me of stealing his weed, despite that I don't smoke. Now you understand why Morocco is not a safe country. Or maybe they are just not sending their best?

Unfortunately this time they refuse to relocate me, saying that we will be friends, so the next the time he turns on the light at 3 am, there will be a knife fight. Hope the ambulance will arrive on time.

Camp counselors also said if I don't stop filming these retards assaulting me, I will go to jail, being charged with "invasion of privacy." Doubt they have solitary confinement, but I guess they can make an exception if something happens to my cellmate, after he makes a chimpout at 3 am.

Ok, folks. These are probably the last days I shitpost here, since COA is really angry after the yesterday video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B28ou8el-0o ). They threatened me and demanded it removed from Youtube. I told them to sue Google, and that I will rather go to jail, than betray free speech ideals. Likely they will call the police to relocate me to the Rotterdam prison tomorrow or in a few days.

To put in context: COA is a privately held company, and such videos are a PR disaster for them. They explicitly state on their site that no unapproved journalism is allowed. Really Russian tier anti-free speech rules. Like I'm filming some Putin's palace or something.

Beside being inefficient, the open source code I used for the distance field generation had a nasty bug, giving subtle errors for some input range. I.e. for a square it damages garbles the left border. Had to rewrite it. Moral: never ever trust any GPLed crap you find on github. Just stripping the GPL license header wont solve the issue, you will still have to rewrite it from scratch for your closed source project, otherwise end users will complain about crashes and bugged features. Wasted more time than just researching it myself and writing from scratch properly. I hope the old pedo Stallman dies from a heat attack while raping a pre-teen child.
