Anti-debugging code in JS. We have truly reached a new level of insanity.

The worst part of generative music is that I overload the CPU with crazy polyphony and feedbacks. So when I get it dialed in and just want to kick back and chill, see where the algorithm goes... @#.'$^-#;<@$.#^&, it starts crackling.

My (now) dead cat sounded better on her death bed.

I wonder if the people writing shit like this realize they're copying literal malware behavior, just geared towards debuggers instead of a VM. But in the end, this is just the same dumb shit as old websites that hijacked your right click ``to prevent image theft''.

I always use the F12 network tab to get media from sites. Works great.

Didn't look into OP too closely but seems like it's just obfuscated while(1){debugger;}

Apparently this has been a thing since 2018:

How does a JavaScript turd alter its program flow when run in a debugger?

This is unironically one of the hardest questions of this decade.
Imagine having to write a program that decides whether a given text is based.

I'm sure we can force a canonical standard of basitude using a machine learning algorithm and social media.

Speaking of "Anti-debugging code in JS", I saw recently a site that would refuse to work with the firefox devtools open.

Better question: why don't browsers do anything to stop it?

Of course that's a rhetorical question. Because "modern" browsers are meant to dumb down and herd the sheeple so Big Tech can fleece and squeeze the most $$$ out of them, not empower users to consume content in the way they desire.

FireFox does.
