You can use a botnet to spread disinformation and do social network terrorism. For example, you can mass message males that their wife cucks them. That can break families, which will incur economic damages, sew general distrust and hatred. You can use the same bot to harass minorities scaring them with upcoming genocide. Or the bot can be pretending to be a negro and harass whites the same way.

Terrorism is all about doing FUD - fear, uncertainty and doubt.
