Hello, fellow programmers
I just read this article about the privacy and security dangers of using WhatsApp:
https://www.poder360.com.br/tecnologia/fique-longe-do-whatsapp-diz-ceo-do-telegram/
So I went to the Telegram channel and copied the post and saved it to my web site on the surface web so everyone could read it as I think this deserves public attention:
https://arquismo.neocities.org/whatsapp.sec.html
Since you programmers are tech savvy and this is of common good interest, could you maybe give a technical analysis/response to these issues and how someone could go about getting rid of the backdoors and resecuring their phone? I was particularly intrigued on the idea of how a single app could obtain access to data of all other installed apps, violating the usual policy of data separation where one app is invisible to the other.
Thank you very much.
