You can make some money, but the claims of 1000's of dollars per month are...hard to believe. I have about 500 books up on KDP, both low and medium content, and I average about $60 per month. Creating a book that sells well takes quite a bit of research and effort.

I love watching all of your videos and I do take your advice. I have been trying my best on Amazon KDP but the marketing is just so difficult, I have not had one sale yet. Very depressing

I've dipped my toes into this before watching this video, I tried making a children's coloring book back in May using AI to create the images and fixed up some of the funky mistakes in photoshop. I've made no sales from that book so far, I'm planning on making some low content books to see if I manage to sell anything going forward. I remember watching a few channels on this topic, they said it wasn't until they had over 100 books that they started making a fair amount of money from sales each month.

These low-content books are IMMEDIATELY removed by Amazon once you set them up online. Amazon KDP now has zero tolerance for selling low-content books on their platform and has heavily cracked down in the past few months on their platform. They will delete your product and delete your account.

I got suckered in. I hired a Fiverr graphic designer and created journal books with lessons throughout about how to conduct meetings. I spent about two months on it. AmazonKDP shut me down and deleted my account in FOUR DAYS because they said it was a low-content book they did not support. I appealed twice, and they repeatedly shut me down. This is click-bait, so he gets views, which makes him money. Don't do it.

maybe the intentions behind this video were good, but the reality is more like "Might as well try this out since I got a sponsorship to go with this. Amazon does not allow low content books so have removed the content, but go ahead and go through the effort of making one anyways."
