Of course they are; my point is that they ought not to be. Given that a person knows how to assemble engines, the probability that that person is female should be approximately 1/2.

First you justify gender by saying it gives you an idea most of the time (and you acknowledge there are non-negligible exceptions), then you use the exact same argument against using racial pronouns/qualifiers/slurs.

I don't think we have SJWs for the same reason. The relevant reason here for my hatred of them is that instead of doing away with all the gender bullshit (and thus simplifying society by a lot), they're adding on top of it (like Stroustrup on C) and making it even more of a defining trait of a person. You seem to hate them because they're threatening your gender binary worldview.
