CS females

I was reading some old articles and found this:
The numbers are striking: Girls make up only 17 percent of those who take high school computer science advanced placement tests. Women receive less than 28 percent of computer science bachelor's degrees, down from a high of 37 percent in 1984.

iirc in 2012 the percentage was 10%. I know you give a shit about this topic but I only wonder how after 30 years of feminism so many girls are now choosing shitty careers (like business) instead of superior science careers (like computer science). What is causing this strange behavior?

I don't know how old are you, but modern CS students are mostly kids looking for good money, seriously, there was just one autist kid in my class and he wasn't a good programmer (but he studied a lot so maybe in the future he will)...
I understand how the current society influence females to study non-autistic fields, and I agree with you in that point, but I still don't see what happened in the last 30 years to go from 37% to 10% (or even less, at least in my country).
Also if you see pictures from the 40's to the 60's almost every system operator was a women, how many female sysops you know today? same in maths and cryptoanalysis
