Tis the season

And we all know what that means: eggnog.

This is an eggnog appreciation thread.

We shall discuss herein the delightful drink. Do you guys drink it spiked or not? I personally prefer to drink it without alcohol, but I do not mind the occasional dash of rum. Be it spiked or not spiked, I do demand some nutmeg, however.

I once put chunks of nutmeg in a visitors eggnog (I didn't grind it finely enough), causing the pieces to get stuck in their throat, resulting in them coughing and spluttering, and their accusation that I had tried to kill them.

It remains a fond childhood memory.

I do drink eggnog I've fresh made myself; I've never tried it with alcohol however.
