it was pretty /cyber/

when I was a youngster I was big into dumpster diving computer parts out of necessity. I use to get a shit load of old computers after an office building upgraded and I made counter strike servers out of them. I also made a wall of CRTs (one or two monitors per pc) and made flash animations that would synchronize and play across all of them.

I specifically remember getting someone's desktop computer and going though all their pictures, documents, web history and shit like that. The computer belonged to an attractive woman a little older than me and I was able to piece together a narrative of her life over the span of a few years. I fell in love with her, it was pretty /cyber/

Too bad that high copper price lead to copper thief's shitting up places in order to steal cables, forcing companies to lock down trash.
No more fun allowed.
