Verbal Infamy

Each day, we disgrace ourselves by referring to strangers on the internet by the pronoun "he." We don't know who we're talking to. We could be speaking with a woman, or some 80/20 mix of fungal genders embodied in a sentient spore matrix. And let's be honest, "he/she/it" is too cumbersome to use in its place. So I feel we should use a contraction. Yes, when we refer to one another, let us use a combination of all three pronouns: "shit." Here is an example:

When that person said what shit had done, I was surprised.

Now we can breathe easy, safe in the knowledge that the future of respectful discourse on the internet is guaranteed.

I prefer sheit, as it contains sheit, sheit, and sheit.
