In my line of work, I'm a psychology tutor and writer, I find I still use floppy disks for storing basic (eg text only)small-ish files. For me - ironically - USB sticks carry too much storage and they become just another My Documents with hundreds of files leaping out at you and then you realise you can't remember the title of the one you want! So let's not junk the floppies - they are small and are good for filing particular jobs.
