Have you not realised this is a culture war? To invoke Godwin, you are all pulling a Neville Chamberlain here! There is absolute an "us vs them going on". It's freedom of ideas vs totalitarian thought control. You CANNOT comprise with totalitarians. You must pursue them right into their fucking bunker, you must destroy every single grip they have on any sort of power. You must be relentless, unforgiving and always on the offensive.

If you think the enemy is reasonable, if you think the enemy can ever deal in good faith.. Then you are truly naive. If we purge the SJWs from gaming, they will attack again. They will continue until they win. If you care about gaming. If you care about science-fiction. If you care about comics. If you care about your workplace policies. If you care about the education of (your) children. If you care about the future of the Western world.

It's another proxy fight in the endless cold war between humans and the qliphoth who have paid money to post on forums. The former have good intentions, but are inept at public relations, signaling, and status games/torture, while the latter are adept at marketing and community management, but are also predatory sociopaths and bad for everyone. The last I heard, enough evidence of unbecoming behavior on the latter side has been amassed that they are now obliged to pretend they've always hated certain of their kolkhozniki.
