No it isn't. Ever wondered why there was ZERO Muslim terrorism in Western countries until the 90s? It's political. Muslims don't want to sped their lives at war, they want to live quietly among other Muslims. That's human nature and the reason for religion.

The Koran, like the bible, is selectively read. The only important parts are those related to forming and maintaining a cohesive society. That was plainly stated in my original post

So the value of these religions is only in the way they reduce conflict and unpredictability in day to day life through everybody following a set of behavioral guidelines. Only the crazy see anything more in it, everybody else just follows along to fit in and have a smooth ride to the grave
