I do visit 4chan, yes. I don't think it has changed very much since moot resigned, it looks the same. I'm just reading it though, I almost never posted anything there. (I think my ISP is banned anyway). Some boards are vaguely related to my "hobbies", the content is changing fast, speech is free (or relaxed) and I'm a very bored neet without a single friend online or offline. 4chan is that peculiar mix of the most relevant informations on some useless themes and the shittiest humour. Besides, I often can relate to the population. Elsewhere they all seem to have jobs and families and stories that I am too frustrated to read.

I used to be a snobish textboard-only person1, despising the imageboards. but then we got captchas (thanks spammer dude, we all wrote a spambot at some point but nobody was stupid enough to let it run for 3 days...) and finally that beloved place were I spent most of my neet days was nuked. That's when I began to browse 4chan's imageboards on a daily basis.

Also, I've never really been a fan of moot, I never understood why he enjoyed that personality cult. Hiroyuki Nishimura, on the other hand...

1. Here's my story. I once read something about 2channel being the largest forum in the world, I felt in love with the idea of anonymous posting, then read that 4chan was some kind of american 2ch, went on the frontpage, clicked "show all boards" (a tremendous hack), chose /prog/ because programming was what interested me the most. I remember, some guy was creating Omegle at the time. I can't remember what year it was. There were a lot of nice things, even if people were already complaining that the board was turning to shit. I read my SICP, forgot everything about my Java training which made me even less employable, and here I am, the guy who's not really a dinosaurus, but definitely not from /g/. Still mourning w4c but this is the closest we got now.
