Most people get their mescaline from the San Pedro cactus, because it is widely available as a decorative, fast-growing garden cactus while Peyote is illegal. San Pedro is usually pretty much pure mescaline, while Peyote contains a few other active alkaloids. However, San Pedro is also much weaker than Peyote, so more must be consumed.

Sadly, consuming the San Pedro cactus is a lot like drinking a cup of saliva mixed with mucus, except that it is more bitter than anything else ever tasted. If you can find real cactus extract (nobody makes mescaline in the lab, if they claim to sell lab-made mescaline there is 100% chance it is an RC) you are lucky.
