A choice between two worlds

You can choose one of alternate universes with 2 earths.
Earth A: Identical to Earth, except each day the person holding most resources(be it money, goods, real estate, etc) dies.
Earth B: Identical to Earth, except each day the person holding least resources(be it money, goods, real estate, etc) dies.

Once all the slaves die, the masters will have no subjects to do their bidding, and not being self sufficient themselves, will perish.
