You should appreciate that the internet gives you a window into all the shifts and conflicts that are happening on a mass scale. You don't need to be invested in it, just to observe it objectively. Failures will tell you that it is somehow shameful to be an uninvested observer, but that is just because they want to drag you down the hole of pointless distraction and wasted effort they are stuck in.
