If by ``abrogation" you're referring to the notion that Christians are not bound by the laws of the Old Testament, it's debatable to what extent that notion is correct. Matthew 5:17 and Luke 16:17 seem to indicate that the old laws still apply. Furthermore, even if it was undoubtedly true that Christians are no longer bound by the old laws, the Jews obviously still are bound by those laws, yet you don't see modern Jews putting people to death for homosexuality or adultery.
