The Action Bible- Converted From EPUB Into PDF

The Action Bible is a retelling of the Judeo-Christian Bible in comic book form written and edited by Doug Mauss and illustrated by Sergio Cariello for David C. Cook, published in 2010. Andre LeBlanc's 1978 The Picture Bible was a major influence on the project.

Plot
The story is very similar to the Bible however some parts are modified both to fit the medium, and to fit a younger audience. The story is split into two major parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament.

Historical events
The book includes mentions of Alexander of Macedon and the celebration of Hanukkah as well as the arrival of the Roman Empire in Israel.

Global distribution
The Action Bible has been translated into 29 languages and is distributed in 32 countries by David C. Cook. An excerpt from the Bible, The Story of Jesus, is available in more than 50 languages and has been distributed in more than 51 million copies in 97 countries. It is also available as a mobile app from Youth for Christ.

allowmods system for foliage mayber,
have foliage set a foliage ID number
then edit vs the ID number?

custom can set ID num too, should be above that tho.

Add substitute lod part for monster allowmods etc?

In my experience young people don't actually see the value of free and open source software. Trying to explain it to them results in them looking at me like I have two heads.

They're so used to phone apps which are free as in beer which monitor their every breath that it seems normal. Anyone who questions it must be up to no good.

-The channel filler (Beryllium Oxide) absorbs the x-rays coming through the hole, and re-radiates them as heat (infrared). It is the most important part of the design.

>fucking around with explosive lenses, or enriched uranium bombs
All of this shit is obsolete. Better systems have been developed since WWII.
You don't need explosive lenses to implode the pit of a physics package, modern devices don't use them, at least not the western ones.

Instead modern western devices use something called a bong-derived system called super-squid.
To break it down Barney-style:
Super-squid is a system used in devices employing hollow Pu pits.
Instead of surrounding the pit (or tamper, if applicable) with explosive lenses, the pit is simply placed in a 2-part spherical shell of explosives, usually made from polymer-bonded RDX or Octogen, for this example we'll call this explosive sphere a "jacket".
Surrounding the jacket is the squid, a 2-part shell of inert plastic.
Detonators are placed evenly across the surface of the squid.
From each detonator location on the squid there are several thin grooves of equal length, each groove leading to a larger node of explosives in direct contact with the inner jacket.
This negates the need for bulky and complicated explosive lenses.
Even implosion is achieved by initiating detonation of the jacket in up to a hundred evenly spaced spots at once. The grooves and nodes are arranged to ensure that the failure or delay of a single detonator doesn't compromise the implosion.
It also drastically reduces the number of bridge-wire detonators required to achieve an implosion and efficient fission of the pit, which in turn also improves reliability.

As for tricks to ensure true prompt critical reaction and avoid a fizzle, there's no need to fuck around with miniaturized particle accelerators, neutron guns, or exotic short-lived isotopes.
Just make the pit larger, as in several critical masses. This practice is ridiculously unsafe and hasn't been in common use after true fusion bombs were invented.
But the trick does ensure a good blast yield, despite uneven implosion of the pit.

...continued

And if the goal is simply to build a nuke, any nuke, that's simple and cheap.
Linear implosion devices are easier to build that conventional implosion devices, and they can be made with regular Pu cores, meaning they're a lot cheaper than gun-type bombs and the pit material can be made without access to isotope separation facilities.

These devices aren't very efficient, but they have a few advantages over conventional implosion devices.
Aside from being cheap and simple, they can also be made very small and light.
The diameter in particular can be made very small, a major advantage making them easy to adapt to a wide variety of delivery methods.

>The 911 call and the bodycam footage showing Austin on the ground - his face turning purple/gray - while Hunter screams, “Oh my God! PLEASE God! That’s my brother! That’s my best friend! PLEASE GOD!” have not been released to the public.

>I hope they never are.

>These are my notes from the courtroom. I could barely write because I could not see through my tears. The Metcalf family was shaking and sobbing. I was shocked that the bodycam footage was shown while Austin’s family was in the room. It was traumatic. It was haunting.

>The Anthony supporter’s did not shed a tear. Stone faced.

>Hunter’s screams, along with the coach yelling, “Stay with me, Austin! Stay with me!” on the 911 call, will forever linger in my mind.

>“Then it began to rain heavily. And in that moment, I knew Austin was gone.”
