Wrong, some are useful. Just because you are not, don't assume everyone is. Also, how about making yourself useful instead of brooding and sulking. Write a program, draw a picture, write a story, post a good comment.

>>7 I don't think you understand my meaning. By all means, bring yourself some solace by creating, especially by programming. That does not alter the fact that by being born human on this planet, you were sent to hell. Its a hell so complete you can't even see it for what it is. You think the horror that surrounds you makes perfect sense. You think all the madness and the waste is just how it has to be, and we've all just got to deal with it and look on the bright side. And sure, our brains are biased to put up with this place for a few decades. But there comes a point in where the brain sees this place for what it is, and once that happens there is no turning back.

Intellectual pursuits are great, but there is still more to life than that. Everyday life and most people may be disappointing, but there is still something to looking at stars and other such things. You have to let your mind slow down to appreciate them. Programming is very stimulating in ways real life is not. You have to get used to the boringness again. Nothing is going to unfold into a fractal in front of you, unless you are on drugs.
