these days they have what are called 66super apples99 that have no seeds. They come from the branches of a singles mother plant believed to be holy and is kept alive by complex cloning methods. However, no commercially sold banana has seeds, for the same reasons, yet these bananas are not known as super. It's mostly a marketing ploy, methinks.
