Why don't you use it over TOR? It works very well.

start a competitor or use a competitor - here's one: http://jewtube.com/

It's Tor, not TOR and I'm afraid of google's analytics breaking through. Quite like a scientist examining a dangerous alien creature from behind protective glass. You never know when it'll manage to break the glass and violently rip our bodies apart.

Erase cookies and cache before switching to Tor? I first wrote it like that then corrected to TOR for fear you will shout ``wrong it's written TOR!" Now I can't never remember how it's written

Wrong. The Onion Router is an acronym. I'll wait while you look that word up on Google.

'>open up tor
>get behind a million proxies
>okay what next
>check the(a?) wiki
>every single link is dead
>close tor

Welp, that was shit. Deepweb confirmed for fail.

Don't enable him. He needs to remove his tinfoil diaper and accept using Youtube is the price he pays for viewing content.

I'm glad that others feel the same way about YouTube as I do. I hope that some way we can break free from the oppression.

How are you being oppressed by YouTube?

You should use a dedicated browser for Tor. There's too many ways data can leak between sessions in a Modern Internet Browser

That's like asking if the human race is oppressed by the robot human farmers in the Matrix.

That was a joke as I can very well avoid it. But it still disappoints me that people are so ardent in supporting a company based on manipulating people out of their personal information. I don't agree with their business model and I think their services are poor. Remember that annoying popup box with aggressive verbiage that constantly harassed you while browsing unless you fed it a name? Even when I fed it real sounding names, it still refused to work. Not to mention the forced G+ integration and horrible UI updates. As well as promoting the content of companies over users. I remember reading sometime (2011 at the earliest, maybe a bit later too), that it was discouraged to use personal information or a real name on the site. Nowadays they constantly encourage people do it, and looking at any of the site's comment sections, it's common to see a wall of real names and actual self portraits. It wasn't like this in the past where people used funny avatars and pseudonyms. These companies have conditioned people into thinking that it is acceptable to publicly reveal their personal information online. I only do that for banking(and I don't like even that). They do this so that they can milk money out of people. And I think that's very unethical. Not to mention that they consistently cooperate with government agencies like the NSA so spy on people even more. In summary, I think YouTube is an unethical service that is damaging to the world as a whole and I am frustrated at people being either oblivious or indifferent to this.

If you use it together with mpv, isn't it technically streaming and thus perfectly legal?

We must consult the youtube terms of service. Any violation of this is a violation of the computer fraud and abuse act.

Don't change these.
