/r/science mods say "white privilege" is a scientific fact and remove comments that disagree (even with evidence). I asked them to be transparent, open and honest about this to the community by including "white privilege" in the rules/wiki, but they have refused, and here are their reasons:
Holy shit, no wonder people take just one look at the comments and it's a train wreck. All the actual good one's have been deleted.
Most well articulated, not inflammatory, have arguments etc. It's not removing "baseless comments" - they've left plenty of those intact. It's removing actual discussion because god forbid someone has their view challenged.
Reddit lol lmbo omg why do people keep using reddit. Omg. People so hard up they will use anything.

When he sees a goddess he asks her why she doesn't get rid of her female form (for a male one, since he thinks that would be better). She answers him by changing herself into a male form and Sariputra into a female form, then she mocks him with his own question. The poor guy is bewildered. She then changes him back and explains how neither male nor female is anything, and thereby helps Sariputra along his way to enlightenment by showing the blindness of his sexism.
Why are free-thinking people still going to Reddit of all places? The site is constructed in a way that punishes people for voicing unpopular opinions. No progress can be made on a given topic because anyone providing an alternative point of view to that of the majority would get downvoted to hell.
