And none of these censored comments were insulting or breaking ToS, people were just stating their political opinion in a thoughtful manner. Non political comments are not censured.

Google and Microsoft are essentially part of the US government. Your statement is childish because you live in a pretend game of freedom. There is no such thing as private anything, the government either allows you to pretend to own/run it or they take it from you. It doesn't matter what the government "shouldn't" do, they do what they want because they own you.
