I convinced my dad to become a racist and now I regret it

I browsed /pol/ heavily a couple years ago. I started role playing about pro-drumpf shit, race, etc. to a lot of people including my dad. Needless to say I grew out of it. But now I found out my dad posts cringey "racialist" type shit on social media, despite having been an enlightened liberal his entire life.

I was being ironic the whole time. I was just being edgy. I guess this is the big tragedy of getting your sense of humor from /b/ and applying it to real life. Normal people can't realize you're fucking with them on a deep psychological level just for the lulz.
