I used to be a nihilistic atheist

Name: Anonymous 2018-07-18 15:14

But then I recently converted back to Christianity. My family brainwashed me into thinking that atheism is "smart" and "progressive." Being depressed and amoral is smart! Thinking everything is pointless is so smart! But it's also self-defeating. Finding purpose is extremely important. I don't care what liberals say. Christianity is important. It gives you hope, a community to be a part of, kinship, a system of morality, and more.

But the again, I feel like a lot of modern atheists still worship something. In lieu of God, they worship liberalism. White privilege is the modern-day equivalent to original sin. They see anyone who is against their political ideology as heretical.

Nihilism is a poisonous mindset. Don't fall into that thinking trap. Liberalism is a mind virus.

Why not just become Muslim?

Because I'm not self-hating?

There's nothing self-hating about being a warrior of God.

Being a Christian means being a man of God.

still worship something
They worship "technology" which is essentially "perversion of nature". To hear to the average cuck tell it, technology will eventually lead to heaven on Earth where everybody has a portable nuclear power station to eternally power their augmentations and travel to the stars at will. You and I know this so-called "heaven on Earth" will literally be Satan's kingdom of slaves, but try telling that to a tech-worshiping soyboi.

technology will be increased surveillance, more planned obsolescence (buy the iPhone 287 because it has 5 more pixels and some extra storage compared to the iPhone 286!), everything gets hacked, tech companies force their SJW agendas on people (tumblr, facebook, google, etc), more realistic bots on social media so you'll never be sure if you're talking to a real person or not, more automation (and thus unemployment), and more

I studied tech in college
I work in tech
I hate tech
I know it better than most people
And it's terrible

The industrial revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race

Damn dude you seem really insecure about your ability to make it in the tech game if you have to attack tech itself like that. At least you have /lounge/ to vent on I guess. Hope things get better for you mate chin up :)

Don't change these.
