Homosexual actions vs. homosexual identity

Name: Anonymous 2018-09-14 16:21

I smoked a cigarette once. Does that mean I have to keep on smoking cigarettes for the rest of my life and say that it's great? Do I have to go to smoker prides parades and base my entire personality around being a "smoker"? Do I have to wear cigarette shirts and put smoke clouds on my social media profile pictures?

Or maybe I can try it once and then realize it's not for me and then move on with my life and tell people that smoking is bad, and I actually have experience with why it's bad.

I don't think there is such a thing as a homosexual person. There are homosexual acts, but that doesn't mean your brain is wired that way. You actively choose to ignore your heterosexual instincts. Straying away from what's right once isn't a huge deal, but it's strange to pretend that we aren't biologically programmed for reproduction.

Homosexuality is a disease and I'm the cure

Don't change these.
