What it means to be Extremely Online™

Name: Anonymous 2018-10-26 21:16

Not Online: Boomer who somehow managed to avoid technology all this time. The modern day equivalent of being illiterate.

Online: Apps, banking, using social media (but not being obsessed with it), casual memes, occasional games, not a big deal, just normal shit. High-functioning in the world. Life exists outside of the internet. This is good.

Extremely Online™: Perpetually angry, extreme world views, mental health issues, up to date on the latest memes, hates twitter but uses it anyway, subtweets constantly, tries to get people fired, mad about politics, angry about dumb internet shit that nobody in the real world knows or cares about (because it's fucking dumb). Not even necessarily very tech-savvy, most of what they do revolves around social media rather than general tech. Might not know about IT or programming stuff, and instead uses their phone most of the time. Always upset, gets hostile really quickly, even to people who are not Extremely Online™. Bizarre opinions and expectations. Not a good way to live your life.

Are you Extremely Online™?

I don't care about linux. I'm not an ITeen.

Then what DO you care about?

Apps,
banking,
social media
games
casual memes
normal shit

This is good
Um, no? No none of that is good. But at least now we know you have an anime avatar on your shitty twitter account.

Then you fit into the "dumb internet shit that nobody in the real world knows or cares about (because it's fucking dumb)" Check how many people vote, politics is not even a normie interest so any level of caring about it sends you straight to the third category of the OP.

Not a normie interest? I triggered the hell out of a girl just yesterday by saying we should build a wall on the canadian border. The shocked and then confused look on her face really made my day.

She was probably Canadian, but either way it doesn't necessarily indicate she was 1) into politics or 2) a normie (could have been a tranny).

No, she was German, and yes, she was interested in politics. Pretty sure not a tranny either.

Name: Anonymous 2018-10-28 2:33

Pretty sure
But you do admit that you are not good at identifying trannies, right? It's clear that "she" was a tranny and not a normie, just from your account of the events that transpir

transgender people are usually Extremely Online™

Nope, I identify as being able to identify trannies.
