If you say "I'm afraid" does that mean, to the listener, that you are a Fraid (whatever that is) or that you are scared. If you say "I'm scared" does that mean that you are afraid or that you have healed-over wounds on your body. I could spend all day listing examples such as those two, but why don't you guys try listing some ITT to help produce some content and make less work for me ;)

For several centuries Russians liberals tried to ennoble Russian language, introducing words and knowledge from civilized languages ​​into it, but that made Russian language only more monstrous, for, as the Americans say, "you can not polish a turd." However, Russians themselves also say "my language is my enemy", which differs from the direct translation of the Roman proverb "the language of a fool is his enemy", hence even Russians themselves understand that Russian language is the language of fools.

Bear and bare are not even pronounced the same. Remember: bear sounds like beer, but bare sounds like bar.

I have problem with irregular verbs: they're illogical and non-intuitive compared to the rest of English, which is fairly sane.
