The main difference between Russia and USA

Russia didn’t make 50% of their country poor and low income.
Russia didn’t make 63% of their country unable to afford a $1000 emergency.
Russia didn’t have unaffordable college and people buried under mountains of debt.
Russia didn’t make the banks kick 5.1 million people out of their houses.
Russia didn’t get into eight wars with $700 million dollars going to a war machine at the same time they can’t get clean water like in Flint.
Russia didn’t poison water like in Flint.
Russia didn’t frack their country.
Russia didn’t stop Barack Obama from getting elected when they could have, at the snap of a finger.

because you are informed. they grow up in this shit. they know if they run. their whole family is going to get killed. escaping to south korea like that is damm near impossible. most of them swim over the river to China. but China is hunting them too. if they get caught in China they are sent right back to North Korea where they most likely will be killed for trying to escape. the Chinese town that borders North korea where they can escape to has signs all over telling people to report them if they swim across. you even get a text message on your phone the second you arrive in that Chinese town explaining who to call to report it. so escape is really fucking dangerous. and if you manage to do it your family will be punished

I.e. the only way to improve his life typical North Korean has is to escape, but to do that, he not only needs to be smarter than the 95%, he will have to become a psychopath and submit his family to death, while risking his own life. That escaped person still got shot in the end and crippled for his entire life. He played his best, still lost it in the end. That is the hard difficulty.

Buying plane ticket and legally visiting South Korea is easy difficulty.

So life is indeed a game, it is just that you don't pick difficulty level. It can be a cakewalk, or excruciatingly difficult. To earn money in Mexico, you have to daily butcher these nasty cops and their kids, and what if one of them has AIDS in his rotten blood? You don't choice it.
