BTW, Google is very sneaky about it and never directly says that you're banned, the Google ban always looks like the attached screenshot, and their tech support is very hesitant disclosing the actual ban reason.

And they don't always tell you about ToS violation, usually just disable the account like this. Probably because they are unsure if it was you who broke ToS or your account was hacked, and the hacker broke ToS, or some of your friends used your computer to do stuff. Some companies love to be ambiguous in their error messages, due to numerous social and tech reasons. And Google is known to cooperate with security services and cops of every single country. For example, Google has doxxed Chinese bloggers, which were persecuted, while the Russian Google branch explicitly admits cooperating with Putin.

Did you move recently? I have no secret question, recovery phone, or email and google would just refuse to let me log in when I travelled to another country. I even gave it my phone (which they did not have beforehand) but it obviously did not help.

I managed to log in by using an IP Google knows. Ditch gmail if you still have one.

In all seriousness fuck Google. I had few GMail boxes, as well, as YouTube accounts. Used them only when really needed. Shit started happening last year - even though I kept entering correct passwords, these scum wouldn't allow me in, unless I gave them a phone number. Fuck these faggots, they will never get any. I looked for some temporary burner ones, but no luck so far. I will one day try to find some way to retrieve my data (fortunately for me it isn't that important or invaluable).

In the most ridiculous case, one of my YouTube accounts had an extra, non-Google, emergency e-mail address defined - so first it asked to verify through that mailbox. But after that succeeded, this pesky little shit still dared to demand a phone number.

So the conclusions for all others are the following:

• Retrieve and backup (on external magnetic media or M-Discs for best results) all your data from any Google services (most desirably all your data in general - doing backups should be a natural habit for anyone working on computers anyway)
• Diversify your e-mail providers as well as other Internet services, make sure to have an alternative in case Google shows you the middle finger
• Get rid of any Google software and stop using their services, wherever it's viable, relatively hassle-less and possible to do so
• Block their advertisements, scripts and widgets, advocate others against them. If you run a company or manage IT stuff at one, check, if you can make it rely (internally) less on any shit from Google - for example make the employees use browsers other than Chrome.

Whenever possible, I search with DuckDuckGo - sometimes however, I just have to switch back to Google. I use Pale Moon as a browser. A actively download all YouTube videos I like or deem important, using a youtube-dl fork called youtube-dlc ( https://github.com/blackjack4494/youtube-dlc ). For serious, personal e-mail, I've been using other free providers anyway - not known much worldwide, but popular in my country. One of them even allows for attachments up to 100 MB.

This is the new norm. They ban just because they can. And they can because they can clearly see that you are not very well integrated in normie-socium. Everything else is technicalities. Shitskins run everything nowadays, from top to bottom. They'll use any chance to abuse their power, for money or just for the sake of abuse itself, just to keep a lil bit troublesome non-sheeple people away.
As for tactics: they can push you into breakin some rule by starting an emotional conversation; they can reactively retro-bullshit-fit their ban into rules; they can proactively set vague rules. I got two perpetual bans just in the last month and I barely even post on the internet.
