Explain me 3D Integral

As I understand it, the space is just being dubdivied into "infinitesimal" cubes, each having an assigned vector, which is being multiplied by the volume of it's corresponding cube, then the result of all these multiplication is being summed to produce the integral's value.

And the space is infinite, so the integral iterates of infinite number of infinite small cubes. It all makes perfect sense!

Just extend the concept of 2D integral to the 3D space. Riemann sums are pretty intuitive.
