We may not be enough dudes to create our own news group,but maybe we can occupy some unused, unmoderated, and unspammed group.

Wouldn't be amazing to have all the progrider force inside your nntp client?

I mostly lurk around usenet, so I don't know the politics of taking over a group. For nominations, here are a few that show up to me (Eternal September) as pretty much dead, for which the name might make some sense.
