Any ideas how to jump on the quantitative investment bandwagon without any specialized education, reading some books like SICP? /prog/, recommend me some books, which would make me the next Soros.

Wait until after September 13th, 2015, no use getting in, this late in the game.
This sounds like a perfect use for my latest invention. I can't give away all the details, but basically you reach into the future and pull the brain of a smarter you back into the present, then skip all the ``specialized education'' that you would have gone through to get it.
Unfortunately, it turns out the physics for building the machine is pretty hard, so I'm making requests for astrophysicists and neurosurgeons to help me. For some reason, I'm getting a limited response.
