Microsoft considered stupid

This is not your blog. If we want to read more from you we will look it up ourselves.

Just watched The Internship.

Pretty great movie, I really recommend it.

I'm sorry, just thought that you'd like to contribute to it. Make it something big you know. I think it has potential, a place to discuss all microsoft issues in detail.

Name: Anonymous 2014-02-15 2:48

We could eventually do that for many proprietary products.

"Considered stupid" is a superior motivation to "considered harmful".

Name: Anonymous 2014-02-15 2:59

Not all of us are retards with some specific hate for Microsoft that we don't reserve for other software vendors, both free and proprietry, either. For example, I think Linux, Plan9, BSD and all the Unices are sewage soups equivalent to, and in some case bigger than, Microsoft's VMS clone.

What did you think of the app idea of a CAPTCHA for people making drunk calls in the morning? Has it even being implemented yet?

Name: Anonymous 2014-02-15 3:36

>>7
I think not, just googled "drunk captcha" and didn't find much.

Where is the admin?

Name: Anonymous 2014-02-15 5:43

You seem to have a very, very bad habit of throwing completely undeveloped ideas into the open and justifying it with ``I thought you might want to contribute''. No. Fuck off. Or, better yet, help me with my project first. I've got most of the planning done, but you can help me make it awesome: http://pastebin.com/nDN0XVwJ .

Alright, you seem to have a point, I'll stop doing that (although some of the ones I've posted here are far from underdeveloped).

Your project seems awesome, you should really pursue it, I'm looking up to hearing more about this and you soon.

Actually, the plan was to create some buzz around WizardsWorkshop with that joke repo, it doesn't seem to have worked though.

No shit. Just about all of your posts have been nothing other than ``creating some buzz''. And in case you haven't noticed, the type of poster who frequents this place doesn't really like posts that are nothing but buzz. There are plenty of internet sites devoted to creating buzz, and they are frequented by people who like buzz. This is not one of those places. It's pretty obvious what you want, and you won't find it here.

You're free to do whatever you want, I'm not an admin, but don't be surprised when we tell you to fuck off, you high-functioning webdev undergrad shill.

Name: Anonymous 2014-02-15 7:12

I don't think this is the original javashit kike. Just a more recent one. The original javashit kike was most likely frozenvoid.

Not just buzz. I think I have actually been able to create some decent quality context, while trying to create some buzz too in the process. Nothing wrong with that, by creating some buzz it motivates me to continue working on them, which creates some more buzz, and becomes a win/win situation.

You're free to do whatever you want, I'm not an admin, but don't be surprised when we tell you to fuck off, you high-functioning webdev undergrad shill.

I'm sorry. If admin decides to ban me (although please don't delete my posts, there's nothing actually wrong with them, and I need them for feedback review later) I'll be fine with leaving this place, won't try a proxy or anything.
Also, he doesn't need to ban me, if admin comes and tells me to fuck off, I'll just have to accept it and move on. (And spam old /prog/.)

A good point. There is way too much blogspam, SEO, cloud, youtube shills, and other bullshit on the web and avoiding that is what makes places like this special

Rename it to "Microsoft Considered Harmful"

Name: Anonymous 2014-02-16 0:03

This is starting to become annoying. Please stop posting threads with just a link to your insipid bullshit and nothing else. Don't use this site as your advertising venue. Especially not the /prog/ board. As others have said, stuff along these lines is better suited to sites with sycophantic userbases like HN. If this keeps up I'm going to start deleting the threads.

If you want to post nonsense on /lounge/ go ahead, but this board is for programming, and not to be used to hype your blogs.

Name: Anonymous 2014-02-16 0:39

By the way, don't do this >>3,7,8

That was just you posting and replying to yourself to bump the thread. This happens often, but if the thread is just you advertising your own shit, you're starting to cross the line.

I can't tell if you're trolling or just one of those people who are incessant to the point of becoming a nightmare, but this site isn't for you. We don't care about these kinds of things. We don't want to collaborate on projects. Go post about this somewhere else.

I feel like this might be too hash. It's true ey is insufferable, but I don't think this ey is being insufferable on purpose, and does show some genuine interest in our community and what we do. Ey might learn to not be insufferable over time.

In old /prog/ we never had moderation. The only thing we could do when people like this came is passively aggressively attack them and try to ignore them, which isn't possible when they start responding to themselves. We could get spammed at any time and it was frustrating at times, but there was the added benefit that anyone who wandered in could participate without the capability of being removed, which is kind of a beautiful thing. Anyways, just my two cents. People hated frozenvoid and filtered him, but he's still a valuable memory of /prog/ (although I really don't like this person, and I liked frozenvoid).

But do what you will. It's relieving to know there is some form of abuse prevention on this board.

I think stupid sounds better in this case, and it is still a reference of sorts

>>16,19,20
Alright. I think I'll keep it only in one thread then? In lounge maybe since it's all feedback.

Name: >>20 2014-02-16 8:07

why the fuck did you bump your thread?

Name: Anonymous 2014-02-16 13:15

At least have the decency of using sage if you're going to comment on your stupid self-promotion threads.

God, you're like a light version of Luke, talking to himself and bumping his own threads while ignoring everyone's opinion on him.
